“Balance is not something we achieve, but something we remember how to return to.”
Elizabeth (HH. Prac. Shamanism) works quietly at the meeting point of science, symbolism, and lived experience - supporting people as they soften back into their natural rhythm and sense of wholeness.
Her approach weaves together Kinesiology, NLP, Professional Life Coaching, Reiki, Seichem, Breathwork, Meditation Mastery, Jungian Shadow Work, and Shamanic practices, held within ethical frameworks and training endorsed by recognised complementary therapy bodies, including the IICT, and aligned professional associations. She holds practitioner standing in neo-shamanic studies and brings both structure and intuition into the spaces she holds.
Outside of her work within Within Balance | Healing Arts, Elizabeth spends her time immersed in study through her doctorate in metaphysical sciences, reflection, and service. She is devoted to ongoing philosophical and metaphysical inquiry, creative writing with her latest book showcasing her meditation practice LEADER, and the quieter practices that nourish presence and perspective. A portion of her work is also offered in service to animal adoption and rescue agencies, supporting animals through gentle energetic and nervous-system-informed care as they transition into safety and belonging.
Through Within Balance, Elizabeth creates spaces that feel steady, respectful, and human - where healing is not rushed, wisdom is invited, and balance is allowed to emerge in its own time.
“I grew up carrying more than I had language for - unspoken struggles that lived in the body long before I knew how to name them. Later, as a parent to two children, I learned that love can coexist with exhaustion, and that the constant hum of responsibility, expectation, and societal noise can slowly pull us away from ourselves if we are not listening closely.
Awakening to self-awareness was not gentle. It asked me to meet my shadow - the patterns held in the nervous system, the inherited stories, the survival responses masquerading as strength. Science calls this regulation and integration; spirit calls it remembering what was fractured and welcoming it home. Through that descent came balance - not the absence of challenge, but coherence. A steadiness in my body, clarity in my mind, and trust in something greater moving through me.
Now I guide from lived experience. From having walked the terrain, studied the maps, and felt both the unraveling and the return. Balance is no longer something I search for - it is something I know how to come back to, and help others find within themselves.”
Reflection
What I guide others through is not theory alone - it is pattern recognition shaped by lived experience. Years of observing how the body responds to stress, how the nervous system protects, and how awareness reshapes behaviour have shown me that healing is both biological and symbolic.
From a scientific lens, I work with regulation, coherence, and integration - supporting the brain and body to move out of survival states and into safety and connection. From a spiritual lens, this is the work of shadow integration: bringing the unseen into conscious relationship so it no longer directs us from behind the scenes.
My teachings offer a bridge between these worlds. They are practical, grounded, and compassionate - designed to meet people where they are, honour their pace, and restore trust in their own inner guidance. Balance, here, is not imposed. It emerges naturally when the system feels safe enough to change, from Within.
